It's Time To Finalize Your Shipping Addresses!

Hey All,

It's almost that time, the package is en route to us and it's time to get things finalized.

I'm sure most of your addresses in Backerkit are correct but we wanted to notify you all that you have 2 weeks to finalize your shipping addresses so when we get the run we can ship them out to you asap. We'll also be sending out a 48 hours lockdown notice before we lock it up.

Timeline Update: Slight delay due to Print Shop Errors

Hey All,

Just giving timeline update as since our last update we had to send a deck back to be reprinted.

After we did the unboxing video update we did a thorough review of the decks and found that The Deck of Many Things card backs lacked consistency in the color. Some backs would be vibrant, others dull, and some even slightly the wrong color. We felt this was unacceptable to send to you all and decided to have the deck reprinted.

We were able to though work with the print shop and produce a back that would maintain the same color throughout the deck. Instead of working in a CMYK space we instead made all the backs using set pantones and simplified the design to guarantee that the colors would always be the same, along with adding a classy black edge to them.

This has delayed the shipping a bit, and we apologize in advance as I know you’re all excited to get the product as we are. The reprint will take 1 week, and then 3 weeks for shipping. Which puts us into mid April for us to ship out to you. 

We'll make another update when the decks have shipped to us. Along with a call out for people to finalize their shipping addresses.

TLDR: Printshop was having issues producing consistent backs for The Deck of Many Things so we had to redesign the back. Fulfillment has been delayed till mid april.

Hey All, the final proof is in! 

We're really excited so we did an unboxing to show it off.

We're doing our final review now and if it's all good the print ship will ship us the rest of the decks :D

End of Month Update: Final Review Copy Incoming!

So exciting news, we're on the final stretch! 

The decks are finishing assembly and I'm going to be shipped a final review copy and if everything is good the decks will be shipped to me. I can't wait to show it all off. I'll take pictures of the final review copy and send them to you all when they get in.

Elsewise it's the last day in the month and we just finished our first batch of Patreon exclusive cards.

This month we made the following: Wererat, weretigher, werewolf, wereboar, werebear, swarm of rats, skilled transmuter, adept abjurer, merfolk and clay golem.

We also announced a couple new decks.

The Deck of Many Edible Monsters

In our patreon we'll be releasing some recipes alongside some monster cards so you can entertain your guests with the encounters they face. (Here's a sample)

We came up with the idea from all your card suggestions, as there was so many edible types of monsters. It got us thinking, how fun would it be to eat the monster you just defeated.

The Deck of Many Magic Items

One of the most requested things we got were Magic Items, you wanted easy reference cards, starting in March we'll begin production on those as well.

To the people who got the deckboxes and just sleeves

Those have been shipped out! So keep an eye out for them :D

Project Update + Custom Leifkicker deck boxes + Sleeves

Hey All!

I know everyone is excited to get these decks so I'm writing a quick update for everyone to go over the timeline and a few other things.

Timeline as of now.

As is stands were still on track for a late March shipping date. Right now it's Chinese New Year so the production facilities are closed, but from what I understand everything is printed and waiting on assembly. They return to work on Feb 25th, and should be done/shipped to me by the end of this month, with 1 month shipping to me.

Big thanks for your patience while we all anxiously await the decks!

Custom Leifkicker Deckboxes

So we're all out of the Leifkicker Deckboxes! And they were finished last week. So if you were one of the lucky few to get one they're being shipped now! So expect to get your box shortly.

Sleeves

So far I've got half the sleeves in, but thankfully I don't need all of them until the decks come in. Those who ordered just sleeves with the pdf though we are shipping those this week so be sure to keep an eye out for them.

Patreon

As mentioned in our last update we started a patreon and are creating new cards, and going to start doing items and spells through it. 

So far for the month of Feb we've announced the following:

Werewolf, werebear, wereboar, weretiger, wererat, merfolk, skilled transmuter, rat swarm, and abjurer!

Also if we manage to hit $1,000 on patreon we have a special piece done by Jason Engle that we'll also release. The Solar! 

 

 It's only $10 to get these cards shipped out to you. And you also get pdfs and votes to help determine what we produce.
